The fight against the budget cuts continues! With the elections approaching, we now have the opportunity to make it loud and clear that the disastrous choices of the current government are destroying the future of the Netherlands. That's why it's time for action! On October 27th, the unions will organise an election action at Domplein in Utrecht, in collaboration with WOinActie and supported by UNL. This will mark the start of a period in which we will make it clear to politicians that the demolition must stop and the restoration must begin.
Politicians in The Hague must hear us! To make our discontent loud and clear, we need everyone to attend. Come to Domplein and bring your colleagues or fellow students. Together, we can make noise and ensure people know what they are choosing: an investment in accessible, high-quality education or the destruction of our knowledge society. The greater our numbers, the stronger our message will be.

Your voice counts
Although university budget cuts are already happening, we can still turn the tide! Attend on Monday, October 27th, and then join all the subsequent actions we'll be organising after the elections to help the new cabinet make the right choices. And on the 29th, vote for a party that has the best interests of education and the Netherlands as a knowledge-based nation at heart. Your voice and vision count. Choose education, choose the future!
The Executive Board encourages students and staff to travel to Utrecht. Join us!
Lawsuit
Of course, Radboud University will also continue its lawsuit against the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science for breaching the ‘Bestuursakkoord’. You can read more about this in this message.
