Motives for the work ranged from gender equality and loyalty shares to broader issues around the investment climate. The advice addresses topics on financial incentives for directors of listed companies, cross-border restructuring and adjustments to Title 4 of Book 2 of the Civil Code. “The advices are an important contribution to the private law legislative agenda and the strengthening of the Dutch investment climate in a European context,” Struycken said. Struycken himself received his doctorate in 2007 from Radboud University, at OO&R.
Claartje Bulten, Martin van Olffen and Christiaan de Brauw advise State Secretary for Legal Protection on modernization of PLC law
Last week, the expert group Modernization of PLC law presented their advice to State Secretary for Legal Protection Teun Struycken. The expert group, led by Claartje Bulten and Martin van Olffen, issued advice to update PLC law. OO&R fellow Christiaan de Brauw was also part of the expert group.
