On Friday, April 19, Pauline Ernste delivered her inaugural lecture in acceptance of the CPO chair.
Ernste's teaching assignment is Dispute Settlement in (inter)national legal practice and in her inaugural lecture she spoke about the question of what an arbitrator or binding advisor in proceedings is allowed to do with his or her own knowledge. Prior to Ernste's oration, a knowledge café on the impartiality and quality of arbitration was held under the presidency of Carla Klaassen. OO&R PhD student Carmen Schleijpen acted as a panelist.
