

European multidisciplinary consortium SynOD starts this July
In July the consortium SynOD (alpha-Synuclein OMICS to identify Drug-targets) will start. SynOD consists of 6 EU partners and is coordinated by Prof Günter Höglinger from the University of Munich. SynOD aims to find drug targets for Parkinson’s and related diseases. Within the consortium Jeanine Houwing-Duistermaat is responsible for the development of statistical methods for the analysis of the diverse datasets that are available within the consortium. Rosember Guerra-Urzola will start September 1st as a post-doctoral researcher on the project. The Dutch part of the project is funded by ZonMW.
