In addition to the planned renovation of the Erasmus Building, the faculty is also relocating to save on floor space. Due to budget cuts, the faculty is giving up 25 per cent of its floor space. In return, the faculty will be able to make use of the more modern working environment and facilities in the Maria Montessori Building over the coming years. From 10 August, the faculty will be located on the third floor and part of the second floor of the North Wing.
As Radboud University’s smallest faculty, FFTR will be sharing the Maria Montessori Building with the largest – the Faculty of Social Sciences. The student societies, the faculty student council and the philosophy journal Splijtstof are moving with them. The Titus Brandsma Institute and the Institute for Eastern Christianity will also be based in the Maria Montessori Building.
The faculty would like to thank the Faculty of Arts for the years of pleasant co-tenancy and looks forward to sharing a new building with the Faculty of Social Sciences.
