Greenfile workshop for e.g. environmental scientists and others

On Thursday 22 January, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Library of Science offers a workshop on the GreenFILE database. This database is particularly interesting for students and scientists in the field of environmental sciences. The database is a great resource for topics such as (policy on) sustainability, climate change, renewable energy, and interdisciplinary research in these areas. Sign up here.

Subject headings

This database has ‘subject headings’, a controlled vocabulary that makes your searches even better and more complete. During the workshop, we will explain what this means and how you can use it. We will also share tips and tricks for searching in GreenFile. Of course, you will also get hands-on experience with this database, so bring your laptop.

Are you an experienced GreenFILE user who already knows all of the above, but still have some questions? Would you prefer a different time or need one-on-one guidance or a workshop for your students? Feel free to contact our information specialists for the possibilities: infobfac [at] ubn.ru.nl (infobfac[at]ubn[dot]ru[dot]nl). We are happy to help.
