About the speakers
Esther-Mirjam Sent is professor of Economic Theory and Economic Policy at Radboud University. Her research focuses on behavioral economics, experimental economics and economic policy, the history and philosophy of economics and the economics of science. In particular, she pays attention to limited rationality, emotion and gender.
Daniël Wigboldus is Professor of Social Cognition, specialising in person perception in general and on the role played by stereotypes and prejudice in particular. He is interested in and has published on how stereotypes are maintained through language use, how stereotype expectations affect the traits we ascribe to someone and how implicit biases affect impulsive behaviour and face perception. He is also chairman of Radboud University's Executive Board and former dean of Radboud University's Faculty of Social Sciences.
