Harm-Jan de Kluiver appointed visiting professor of Corporate Law

From 15 July 2024, Harm-Jan de Kluiver joined Radboud Business Law Institute as visiting professor of Corporate Law.

De Kluiver has built an impressive academic career over the past decades, especially in the field of corporate law. He has published widely in the field of corporate litigation and corporate governance in a broad sense. Besides being a prolific scholar and professor at the University of Amsterdam, he was a lawyer for more than 20 years in cases partly determining the formation of law. He was also chairman of the Expert Group on Simplification and Flexibility of Dutch Private Company Law, vice-chairman of the EU Reflection Group on the Future of European Company Law and member of the Company Law Advisory Committee.

De Kluiver's current positions include chairman of the Royal Association for Commercial Law. He has also been editor of several corporate law journals. The Radboud Business Law Institute and the Van der Heijden Institute are extremely pleased with De Kluiver's arrival in Nijmegen.
