Dear students and staff,
Due to the winter weather conditions, we unfortunately had to decide to cancel exams at a limited number of times on 7 and 8 January. Due to a combination of weather warnings (particularly snow and icy conditions) and the cancellation of public transport or uncertainty about its availability, the risk to students and staff was too great at those times. We did everything we could to ensure that exams could go ahead as far as possible, out of respect for all the preparation that had been done by both students and staff.
Was one of your exams cancelled on 7 or 8 January? Your faculty is working on a suitable alternative.
We would like to thank students and staff for their flexibility and understanding in this difficult situation and wish students the best of luck in this examination period.
