Prof. Dr. Hans Stoof (born 1946) studied chemistry and physics at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. In 1990 he was appointed professor of experimental neurology at the VU. Hans Stoof was director of several scientific institutes. From 2007 to 2011, Hans Stoof was rector magnificus of Utrecht University.
From 2013 to 2021, Prof. Stoof was a highly valued member of the Board of Trustees of the Catholic University Foundation. It is with gratitude and respect that we remember him. He was a highly experienced administrator who devoted himself with enthusiasm, vigor and respect for the identity of the institution to strengthening the relationship between Radboud University and Radboudumc.
