Research software on the other hand, has been somewhat forgotten. However, it can be an integral part of a publication. Therefore, it is vitally important that code associated with scientific publications, is as retrievable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. Irrespective of whether it concerns a simple script or a complete library.
But how can code be published transparently? The FAIR principles of software and data management have been adopted by the Radboud and other universities to guide best practice for researchers in this area.
On Thursday 4 December, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Linus will give a presentation on FAIR software and its usefulness for researchers and the research community.
