The 2024 annual report of the Catholic Documentation Centre (KDC) is now available online. In 2024, the KDC celebrated its 55th anniversary. This provided a good time to look ahead to the themes that now demand attention. The meaning that heritage has for people is ever-changing. Therefore, it is important for the KDC, which is engaged in preserving and managing Catholic social heritage for the purpose of education and research, to be aware of these changes and respond to them.
Under the title "Bruggen bouwen" (translated: “Building bridges”), the KDC team tells how they are building bridges to make greater use of (Catholic) heritage for education and research! They also give an overview of new acquisitions in the collections and the important heritage themes of last year.
