Log in to Wi-Fi network eduroam with your new Radboud account before 29 January

Are you not yet logged into Wi-Fi network eduroam with your new Radboud account (your email address, for example firstname.lastname@ru.nl)? From 29 January 2025, logging in with your new Radboud account is mandatory. If you are not logged in to eduroam with your new Radboud account on that day, you will no longer have Wi-Fi.

Logging in with your new Radboud account on Wi-Fi network eduroam has been possible since 8 October 2024. Whereas previously, as an employee or student, you always logged in to eduroam with your U or S number respectively, on the new Radboud account you need to do so with your email address (firstname.lastname [at] ru.nl). Please adjust the Wi-Fi settings of your various devices (phone, laptop, tablet, smartwatch, etc.) now to avoid automatic disconnection from eduroam on 29 January. 

Reset your Wi-Fi connection

Are you currently already logged into eduroam with your new account? If so, you won't have to do anything leading up to 29 January.

This new requirement from 29 January does not apply to individuals within Radboud University who use an e-number, such as externals. The transition of E-numbers will follow later in 2025.
