Lotte Krabbenborg has joined the Committee on Research Involving Non-Human Primates

Lotte Krabbenborg (Institute for Science in Society, Faculty of Science) is a member of the committee that will investigate ways to reduce the number of experiments on non-human primates.

The committee, established by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in response to the Wassenberg motion, is investigating through broad consultations with scientists, non-governmental organisations, literature research, and societal consultations, which scientific research with non-human primates is necessary for combating life-threatening diseases and outbreaks of infectious diseases, and under what circumstances this research can be further reduced in the future.
