M-1 grant for Stefanie Sonner: PhD vacancy

The project aims to develop analytical theories and methods to investigate the qualitative behaviour of complex systems of parabolic partial differential equations with nonlinear diffusion. The results will be applied to models for the growth of marine biofilms, which play an important role in aquatic ecosystems.
