Magazine SMARTER EDUCATION WITH AI for Teachers and Education Professionals

We proudly present the Dutch magazine Smarter Education with AI. NOLAI collaborated to create this magazine, which is compiled for teachers and education professionals.

This week, the Dutch magazine Smarter Education with AI was published. NOLAI collaborated to create this magazine, which is compiled for teachers and education professionals. It features interviews and contributions by NOLAI staff members Inge Molenaar and Pierre Gorissen. In addition, Monique Goris sat on the Editorial Board on behalf of NOLAI. In the magazine, you will find practical tips for the classroom, interviews with leading experts, background stories and inspiring examples of AI in education.

Collection of Inspiring Articles

An awful lot has already been written about what AI in education means or can mean. So much that sometimes you can no longer see the wood for the trees. The magazine, therefore, collects the best, most inspiring, and most helpful articles on Generative AI in education. They are divided into six themes, three of which are AI in your education, AI and testing, and AI and ethics. The magazine is freely available, and we urge everyone to distribute it as much as possible.

Origin and Approach

On the initiative of Professor Kim Schildkamp, Npuls' Pilot Hub Study Data and AI conducted a survey among education professionals and experts on what they thought might be important, interesting or inspiring contributions. This yielded almost 100 suggestions from more than 50 people, which included (scientific) articles, blogs, films and manuals. A choice from these suggestions was made by the Editorial Board consisting of: Kim Schildkamp (UT), Bram Enning (HL/Npuls), Pierre Gorissen (HAN), Willeke Klinker (NLAIC), Erdinç Saçan (ROC Tilburg), Monique Goris (NOLAI), Bertine van Deyzen (SURF), Duuk Baten (SURF), Charlotte Heystek (Npuls) and Dominique Campman (Npuls).
