Mandatory study literature as e-books

Whenever possible, the Library of Science purchases required study literature as e-books as well. These e-books are listed by study in this LibGuide.

LibGuide

With each book you will find the link you can use to share the book via e.g. Brightspace: the 'proxy link'.

  • E-books have many advantages:
  • Students can use e-books from any work place 24/7.
  • Most of them are easy to download.
  • The full text of the book is searchable by topic.
  • You can take notes or add bookmarks in the online books.
  • As a teacher, you can include a proxy link to the digital book version in teaching materials and in Brightspace. This way, you do not have to take into account the copyright rules, which you would have to do if you want to share part of a book as a PDF, for example.

Use the proxy link provided with the e-book or create a proxy link of each e-book by putting https://ru.idm.oclc.org/login?Url= in front of it.
