The vision describes the future image for the campus that the university wants to work towards. The starting point is that the campus remains accessible to everyone, but as much as possible by sustainable means of transport such as cycling and public transport.
Together with the municipality and campus institutions
In the coming period, plans and projects will be further developed into concrete policies, such as for travel costs, bicycle parking, logistics and public space. For many measures, the university depends on other parties, especially governments and other campus institutions. To this end, Radboud University participates in 'Duurzaam Bereikbaar Heijendaal', where the visions of the various institutions and the municipality are aligned and projects are tackled jointly. Examples include the zero-emission zone that takes effect from 1 January 2025 and improving cycling routes to the campus.
