The seminar aimed to take stock of the application of the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD) in selected EU states almost a year after its activation. The book examines how selected EU states apply the provisions of the directive, what problem issues are relevant in practice and how protection needs are met in EU states bound by the directive and in one non-EU state, the United Kingdom which applies its own national laws. The final chapter addresses the future of Ukrainians in the EU after the system of temporary protection introduced by the directive will come to an end.
