New digital assessment software from September onwards

After a successful pilot, Radboud University will switch to the new digital assessment software Ans in September. From then on, the assessment software Cirrus will no longer be used to take digital assessments.

What will change?

For students

Taking a digital assessment remains largely the same. However, the assessment environment will look different. From the beginning of September a demo test will be available to get acquainted with Ans before the first exam period. You can already take a look at the new manuals on the Ans website.

For lecturers

The new assessment software Ans has some differences with Cirrus, such as different names for a number of items and a new way of grading. To help with the transition to Ans, a transition guide is available.
