She is considered to be one of the leading Catholic designers of the Dutch post-war era. In the 1930s Van Zeijst designed a lot of silverware and the museum mainly displays items from this period.
The free exhibition was curated by art historian Ginger van den Akker, who delved into Ans van Zeijst's work for her master's thesis. She used the collections of the Catholic Documentation Centre at Radboud University for her research.
