Noëlle Aarts appointed as Domain Leader for Education and Awareness of the Nature-Inclusive Agenda
How can we capitalise on the opportunities nature offers for a pleasant, healthy society? And how do we ensure that nature becomes part of everything we create and do? A team of nine directors will tackle these questions from the national Nature-Inclusive Agenda. They are pioneers in nature-inclusive thinking and working in their own field: construction, energy, financial sector, health, infrastructure, agriculture, education and awareness, leisure economy, and water.
Nature-Inclusive Society
In this role, Noëlle Aarts will advocate for a nature-inclusive society in which people are once again naturally connected to nature. This benefits nature but also human physical and mental health. Nature needs more of a voice. Noëlle Aarts: "Specifically, I want to ensure that new initiatives and projects always include a nature paragraph alongside a financial one. Companies, organisations, educational institutions need to see the importance of this. That is the challenge for our domain."
