The archive contains very valuable materials, such as a never before opened photo collection from the beginning of the 20th century, handwritten papal letters not even known to the Vatican, correspondence between noble families in Europe from the 19th and 20th centuries, and never before opened sources about the turbulent political history of 20th century Spain.
During the event, Prince Carlos de Bourbon de Parme will talk about the history of the archive and the archivists of the CDC will shed light on the handling of the archive. Furthermore, several researchers of RICH will explain why this archive is so valuable and which possibilities they see for future research.
