During his time as Executive Manager at EMFL, Peter Christianen made sure challenges were addressed with a clear plan while creating a positive and supportive work environment for everyone.
‘My main goal was professionalising the organisation’, says Christianen. ‘It was challenging at times, but I think we can be proud of what we have accomplished. I am confident the team will continue to do great work.’
EMFL is a collaboration between four labs in three countries. EMFL is dedicated to unite, coordinate and reinforce the four existing European high magnetic field laboratories – the Dresden High Magnetic Field Laboratory (HLD, Germany), the Laboratoires National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (LNCMI) in Grenoble and Toulouse (France), and the High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Nijmegen (HFML, The Netherlands) – within a single body as a world-leading infrastructure.
