Inverse wave scattering consists in reconstructing the properties of a spatial region from measurements of its interaction with waves, and it lies at the core of scientific discovery and technology. The PhD project will focus on developing and analysing numerical methods for the efficient computational solution of these problems within a Bayesian framework.
