Public list of decisions week 10

Below you will find the list of decisions taken by the Executive Board in the week of 2 March 2026 (week 10).

2021st meeting, held on 2 March 2026  

  1. Changes to digital assessment time slots 
    The Executive Board established that from the 2026/2027 academic year onwards, four time slots per day would be scheduled for digital assessments, and that the start times would be 8.30 am, 11.45 am, 3.00 pm and 6.15 pm. All of the time slots would allow for an assessment duration of two hours, with the possibility of a three-hour duration for the last time slot of the day. 
     
  2. Collaboration between Radboud In’to Languages and Utrecht University 
    The Executive Board decided to approve entering into the public-public partnership between Radboud University/Radboud In’to Languages and Utrecht University (UU) so that Radboud In’to Languages could provide Dutch as a Second Language tuition to international students at UU. 

     

  3. Name change for the European Law School’s Bachelor’s programme 
    The Executive Board approved the name change to the European Law School’s Bachelor’s programme, which would be known as the Bachelor in Dutch, European and International Law from 1 September 2026 onwards. 
     
  4. Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Universitas Gadjah Mada 
    The Executive Board decided to extend the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia with retroactive effect from 14 November 2025 for a period of five years. 
     
  5. Appointment Advisory Committee for the Vice Dean 
    The Executive Board decided that an Appointment Advisory Committee would be established for the position of vice dean at the Faculty of Law. The committee was asked to issue recommendations for filling the position for the Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Law, which would become vacant on 1 July 2026. The committee consisted of the following persons:

    2. Prof. R.B.J. Tinnevelt (M), Chair of the Research Centre for State & Law and Professor of 
        Philosophy of Law 
    3. Prof. B.A. Schuijling (M), Director of Research at the Radboud Business Law Institute 
        and Professor of Private Law 
    4. H. Hübner (F), LL.M., PhD candidate in Criminal Law 
    5. L.Q. Spekschoor (F), assessor (student member) 
    6. S. de Groot-Jonkman (F), Administrative Director (advisory member) 
    7. Prof. Y.W.M. Benschop (F), Vice Dean of Research at the Nijmegen  
        School of Management and Professor of Business Administration (advisory member)

  6. Extension of appointment of the Vice Dean 
    The Executive Board decided to extend the appointment of Dr V.J.M. van Hoof as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law until 1 July 2026. 
  7. Approval of the appointment of Acting Administrative Director 

    The Executive Board decided to approve the decision made by the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Law to appoint T.C. van Schendel, LL.M., as Acting Administrative Director until 1 July 2026.  
     

  8. I Strategy 
    The Executive Board adopted the I Strategy. 
     
  9. Reappointment of members of the Complaints Committee 
    The Executive Board decided that, in accordance with Article 3 of the Complaints Regulations on Undesirable Behaviour, it would reappoint the members of the Complaints Committee listed below, on the understanding that the Board could prematurely terminate the appointments if the agreement with Gimd ended or if the relationship between the relevant member and Gimd came to an end. 
    1. Mr De Wild (member), reappointed retrospectively for the period from 10 October 2025 to  
        31 December 2026 
    2. Ms Crone (substitute member), reappointed for the period from 8 October to 31  
        December 2026 
    3. Ms Geurts (substitute member), reappointed for the period from 8 October to 31  
        December 2026 
     
  10. Extension of Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit 
    The Executive Board decided that Prof. A. Cambi’s ‘Cell Biology’ teaching and research remit, which was due to end on 1 March 2026, would be extended with retroactive effect for a period of five years. 
     
  11. Extension of Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit 
    The Executive Board decided that Prof. E.J.M. Tanck’s ‘Education in Motion’ teaching and research remit, which was due to end on 1 March 2026, would be extended with retroactive effect for a period of five years. 
     
  12. Extension of Faculty of Social Sciences special Teaching and Research Remit 
    The Executive Board decided that Prof. A.J.M. Hoogeveen’s ‘Identification, Support and Counseling of Talent’ special teaching and research remit, which was due to end on 1 March 2026, would be extended with retroactive effect until the date of her retirement (which was currently scheduled for 24 October 2027).
