1982^nd meeting on 31 March 2025 (week 14)

1. Faculty of Medical Sciences Special Teaching and Research Remit
   The Executive Board has decided to grant Dr T. van den Berg the special teaching and research remit in ‘Immunotherapy, in particular antibody-based therapy’ for a period of three years, effective as from 1 April 2025.

2. Appointment of ad interim Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law
   The Executive Board has decided to:
   1. grant Prof. M. Kompier dismissal from his position as ad interim Dean of the Faculty of Law on his own request with retroactive effect as from 17 March 2025;
   2. revoke the management authority granted to Prof. Kompier for the position of ad interim Dean with retroactive effect as from 17 March 2025;
   3. appoint Prof. P. Veder as ad interim Dean of the Faculty of Law for a period of seven months as from 1 April 2025 (until 1 November 2025);
   4. grant Prof. Veder management authority for the position of ad interim Dean for the period of his ad interim deanship with effect from 1 April 2025;
   5. grant Prof. C. Bulten dismissal from her position as Vice Dean of Research of the Faculty of Law on her own request as from 1 April 2025;
   6. appoint Prof. J. Broeksteeg as ad interim Vice Dean of Research of the Faculty of Law for a period of nine months as from 1 April 2025 (until 1 January 2026);
   7. commission the Faculty Board, in its new composition, to analyse the working climate (including governance) in the Faculty, in addition to conducting the overall management of the Faculty and taking on the procedure for appointing a new Dean and Vice Dean. This task will be further developed by the Executive Board in consultation with the Dean.
       
3. Reappointment of Academic Integrity Committee members
   The Executive Board has decided to reappoint the following individuals as members of the Academic Integrity Committee for a period of four years with effect from 22 April 2025.
   1. Prof. P. van der Heijden, Professor of Statistics at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Utrecht University
   2. Prof. C. Klijn, Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences
   3. Prof. R. Loll, Professor of Theoretical High-Energy Physics at the Faculty of Science 
       
4. Appointment of Academic Integrity Committee deputy secretary
   The Executive Board has decided to appoint J. Maas as deputy secretary of the Academic Integrity Committee.
   
   
5. Appointment of Vox editorial board student member
   The Executive Board has decided to appoint B. Kooiker as a student member of the Vox editorial board as from 15 April 2025.
