Below you will find the list of decisions taken by the Executive Board in the week of 12 May 2025 (Week 20).

1987th meeting on 12 May 2025 (week 20)

  1. Guarantee and progress of new Healthcare Humanities study programme
    The Executive Board has decided to agree to guarantee a negative operating result of the new Master’s programme Healthcare Humanities for actual costs, up to a maximum of:
    1. 116,000 euros for 2026;
    2. 347,000 euros for 2027;
    3. 216,000 euros for 2028;
    4. 0 euros for 2029 and beyond,
      providing that a cooperation agreement is made available before the summer break, in which the three faculties involved specify the study programme’s content. This agreement must be assessed by the Legal Affairs department and signed by the involved parties. The Executive Board must assent to the contents of the agreement before it is signed.
       
  2. Memorandum of Understanding Anton de Kom University of Suriname
    The Executive Board has agreed to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Anton de Kom University of Suriname.
     
  3. Financial statements of Campus Detachering B.V., Radboud Holding B.V. and Radboud Participations B.V.  
    The Executive Board has decided:
    1. regarding the Annual General Meeting (AvA) of Campus Detachering B.V.: to give prior approval to the AvA’s decision to adopt the 2024 financial statements;
    2. the chair should adopt the 2024 financial statements of Radboud University Holding B.V. at the AvA of Radboud University Holding B.V.;
    3. With regard to the AvA of Radboud University Participations B.V.: to grant prior approval to the resolution of the AvA to adopt the 2024 financial statements.
       
  4. Appointment Advisory Committee for the Dean
    The Executive Board has decided to set up an Appointment Advisory Committee for the vacancy of dean of the Faculty of Law. The committee is composed as follows:
    1. Prof. J.M. Sanders, rector magnificus (Chair)
    2. Prof. C.J.M. Klaassen, Professor of Civil Law and Civil Procedure
    3. Prof. J.L.W. Broeksteeg, vice dean of research ad interim and Professor of Constitutional Law
    4. Prof. B.A. Schuijling, Professor of Civil Law (on behalf of the Representative Council, 
         Faculty of Law)
    5. M. Agterdenbos, student (on behalf of the Faculty Student Council)
    6. M.T.M. Blom, divisional director Human Resources (advisory member)
    7. S. de Groot-Jonkman, Administrative Director of Faculty of Law (advisory member)
    8. R.M. te Molder, PhD candidate in Criminal Law and Criminology (advisory member)
    9. D.A.D. Bouwer, Executive Board registrar (secretary)
      The committee has been asked to advise on filling the vacancy of dean of the Faculty of Law. The position will open on 1 November 2025.
       
  5. Appointment lecturer-member Examination Appeals Board
    Noting the provisions of Article 24 of the Executive and Management Regulations, the Executive Board has decided to appoint Dr J.H.B. de Groot as the lecturer member of the Examination Appeals Board for a period of five years, as of 1 June 2025.
     
  6. Appointment of Examinations Appeals Board Student Member
    Noting the provisions of Article 24 of Radboud University’s Management and Administration Regulations, the Executive Board has decided to appoint J. Kamphuis as student member of the Examinations Appeals Board for a period of five years, as of 1 June 2025.
     
  7. Appointment Advisory Committee and profile for Marketing & Communications divisional director
    The Executive Board has approved the composition of the Appointment Advisory Committee and the profile for the vacancy of the Marketing & Communications divisional director.
     
  8. Extension of Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit
    The Executive Board has decided to retroactively extend the ‘Personalised cancer screening’ teaching and research remit awarded to Prof. M.J.M. Broeders until 1 May 2025 for a period of five years.
