- Selection and placement for Bachelor’s programmes for the 2027/2028 academic year
The Executive Board decided to maintain or introduce a numerus fixus for the following Bachelor’s programmes and to determine the capacity and selection methods for the 2027/2028 academic year: a. Psychology (615, qualitative selection); b. Medicine (322, unweighted drawing of lots); c. Dentistry (72, unweighted drawing of lots); d. Human Neuroscience (175, unweighted drawing of lots).
- Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit
The Executive Board decided to grant Dr. M. Hogeveel the ‘Structure, Skills and Collaboration in Emergency Situations’ teaching and research remit, with effect from 1 July 2026.
- Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Pusan National University
The Executive Board agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Pusan National University in South Korea will be extended for a period of five years, with effect from 20 October 2026.
- Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Universidad del Salvador
The Executive Board agreed that the Memorandum of Understanding and International Student Exchange Agreement with Universidad del Salvador in Argentina will be extended for a period of five years, with retroactive effect from 7 August 2024.
- Appointment Advisory Committee for the Vice Dean
The Executive Board decided that an Appointment Advisory Committee (BAC) will be established for the position of Vice Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSW). The Appointment Advisory Committee was requested to issue recommendations for filling the position of Vice Dean at the Faculty of Social Sciences, which will become vacant on 1 June 2027.
- Approval of the appointment of the Administrative Director
The Executive Board decided to approve the decision made by the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Arts (FdL) to appoint T. Booltink (Chartered Accountant) as Administrative Director of the Faculty of Arts (FdL), with effect from 1 July 2026.
- Memorandum of Understanding with NXP
The Executive Board agreed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with NXP.
- Extension of Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit
The Executive Board decided that Prof. H. Vermeulen’s ‘Nursing Science’ teaching and research remit, which was due to end on 1 July 2026, will be extended for a period of five years.
