- Current status of Iranian students
The Executive Board decided to:
1. proactively inform Iranian students with financial difficulties about the possibility of initiating a procedure to reduce the institutional tuition fees;
2. monitor discussions for the 2026/2027 academic year at the national level and to consider addressing potential cases on an individual basis in the absence of a national policy. - International incident protocol
The Executive Board decided to:
1. approve the protocol that outlines the framework for action during an international incident that has an indirect impact on staff members and/or students;
2. coordinate the roles that are required for implementing the protocol into a Global Calamities Impact Team, by using roles within the existing organisation. - Nijmegen School of Management Teaching and Research Remit
The Executive Board decided to grant Dr. V. de Gooyert the ‘Responsible Sustainable Transitions’ teaching and research remit for an indefinite period, with effect from 1 July 2026. - Faculty of Medical Sciences Teaching and Research Remit
The Executive Board decided to grant Dr. R.M. Mann the ‘Breast Radiology’ teaching and research remit for a period of five years, with effect from 1 July 2026. - Faculty of Medical Sciences Special Teaching and Research Remit
The Executive Board decided to award Dr. A.A. den Broeder the ‘Innovative Treatment Strategies in Inflammatory Rheumatic Diseases’ special teaching and research remit for a period of three years, with effect from 1 July 2026. - Authorisation for Tilburg University
The Executive Board decided to authorise Tilburg University to act as consortium leader in the context of the multiple private tender for the cluster review of the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Sociology. - Basic guidelines for Artificial Intelligence in education and research
The Executive Board decided to adopt the basic guidelines for Artificial Intelligence in education and research. - Final report on Prevent – Care – Cure
The Executive Board decided to adopt the final report on Prevent – Care – Cure and will discuss the details of the long-term safeguarding measures at a later date. - Reappointment of vice dean
The Executive Board decided to extend the appointment of Prof. Y.W.M. Benschop as Vice Dean of the Nijmegen School of Management for a period of three years, with effect from 1 October 2026. - Extension of Faculty of Medical Sciences special teaching and research remit
The Executive Board decided that Prof. G.J.A. Fransen-Kuppens’ ‘Population-based Prevention’ special teaching and research remit, which was due to end on 1 July 2026, will be extended for a period of five years.
