- Renewal or expiration of word marks and logos
1. The Executive Board has decided not to renew the following trademark registrations:
a. word mark Nijmegen University;
b. word mark Radboud University Nijmegen;
c. logo Radboud University Nijmegen;
d. word mark Universiteit Nijmegen;
e. word mark University of Nijmegen.
2. The Executive Board has decided to maintain and renew the following trademark registrations
as soon as they become eligible for renewal:
a. word mark Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen;
b. logo Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen;
c. word mark Radboud Universiteit;
d. word mark Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. National and international recruitment
The Executive Board has decided to agree to:
1. the additional budgets and FTEs necessary to support recruitment over the upcoming
academic years, under the following conditions:
a. that goals are included in the recruitment plan, based on which annual go/no-go decisions on parts of the plan can be made;
b. that a business case is prepared to gain a better insight into the financial effects of the recruitment results and their related risks, per inflow category;
2. recruitment for the whole student population;
3. implementation of the strategy, including having a presence at international trade fairs;
4. internationally wider recruitment than just for sectors with shortages;
5. a biannual meeting per faculty with the Marketing & Communications division and the Faculty Board about student recruitment. The Executive Board will join these discussions in 2026.
