Public transport workers will be on strike for 24 hours on Wednesday 9 September 2026. This strike affects the entire public transport network (buses, trams, the metro and trains). You can find more background information about this strike at 9292.nl.
Important for students and staff
On 9 September, teaching and assessment will continue as usual. If you rely on public transport and need to be on campus on 9 September, please arrange alternative transport.
Are you coming to campus by car?
Then carpool! Offer a lift yourself or join someone else’s journey via our new carpooling platform Slinger – it’s much more sociable, saves money and reduces CO₂ emissions. On that day, the university will make the on-campus car parks available free of charge to students, staff and anyone who needs to be on campus.
