This year's Stieltjes prize award went to two excellent PhD theses. One of the winners of this prestigious prize was Radboud graduate Leonardo Garcia-Heveling for his thesis Causality and Time in Non-smooth Lorentzian Geometry, written under the supervision of Annegret Burtscher. The other winner was Pim Spelier from Leiden.
