On 29 January 2026, a team of bachelor's and pre-master's students in Public Administration and Political Science won the international debating competition NRW Debattiert Europa. In this annual debating competition, teams from 10 universities compete against each other to debate the future of European cooperation. In the English-language sub-competition, Radboud University beat teams from Cologne, Maastricht and Bielefeld. This is the second time in a row that Radboud University students have won this competition.
