Re-Paired Assemblages: beavers, humans and rivers in river restoration

Check out this contribution to the Repair course of the Anthropocene Curriculum by HKW, Max Planck Institute and Jeremias Herberg. It shows how the repaired relationships between humans and beavers, incites a constant repair of the way the river flows, by means of pipes, steel, branches, mud and even cornstalks.
The Max Planck Institute for the history of science in collaboration with HKW (Haus der Kulturen der Welt), initiated the Anthropocene Curriculum. Jeremias Herberg co-curated ‘course 008 Repair’ and made space for a contribution by Inge on humans and beavers as ambiguous river restorers.
