Two examples
One of the direct results is that mechanics do not need a heated frying pan any more to check whether the electricity cable in the ground is moist or not. It can be checked now with a device that fits in your hands. It is unknown whether the mechanics will miss the frying pan in their van or not.
Also, two new research themes are added to the collaboration. We extend the collaborative research from technical research (Faculty of Science) to management and area development research (Faculty of Management). More topics are yet to come.
Next time
At this results' event, people came together to discuss the collectively gained (research) results and be inspired for future joined (research) ideas. In this second results event, we extended the number of invitees. All theme leads presented their results of their research theme for the other theme leads and people in close connection with the collaboration. Afterwards, there were in depth discussions and enthusiastic brainstorming for future projects.
Next time we intend to make this inspiring event even bigger: anybody working for Alliander or the Radboud University will be welcome.
