On 16 June, twelve graduate students of international affairs from the School of International Service of American University (Washington DC) visited us at the department of Political Science. They were accompanied by AU staff members Christine Greetings and Dan Schneider.
In the morning, they participated in a seminar on ‘Ethics and War’: our own Saskia Ruth-Lovell, Daniela Stein and Bertjan Verbeek helped them engage with gamification as a learning tool. In the afternoon, the group discussed Dutch and American politics and foreign policy with Bertjan Verbeek. A great day was had by all.
Our department has a dual degree program with AU's School of International Service.
