When registering for the wireless network eduroam, you can currently still use your science account: user [at] science.ru.nl. From 1 April 2026, this option will no longer be available. After that date, registering for eduroam will only be possible with the standard RU account: emailaddress [at] ru.nl. The reason for this change is the further consolidation and centralisation of user accounts at Radboud University
In anticipation of this change, it is already possible to switch to using your RU account, so that you are prepared for the new situation. You can find out how to do this in the instructions Set up Wi-Fi (eduroam) on campus.
