When possible, the Library of Science will also purchase an e-book of required or mandatory study literature. These e-books are listed per subject area in this guide. With the special URL next to every book you can link to the book in study materials and on Brightspace. This way students can also view or download them at home and you don't have to deal with copyright issues.

E-books are behind a pay wall. This means that an employee or student off campus can only use them if she or he is logged in. You can accomplish that by putting a proxy link in front of it. Then a login screen will appear. That way, anyone from Radboud University with the RU login can also access our subscriptions off campus.
A proxy link is easy to make: just put this link: https://ru.idm.oclc.org/login?url= in front of the URL you want to link to. So a proxy link of this book: https://doi.org/10.1093/acprof:oso/9780195316957.001.0001 becomes: https://ru.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1093/acprof:oso/9780195316957.001.0001
In this online study guide e-literature FNWI the proxy links are already included with each book. Teachers copy this link into their teaching materials. Students can click on the book link to download or view it, either at home, or on campus.
