The day started with an interactive panel discussion on how to approach collaborative research with impact, featuring colleagues and their collaborators from two large-scale collaborative projects. Visitors learned how Huub Ploegmakers (NSM, GPE Department) partnered with Hans de Kroon (Faculty of Science) and Tiny Wigman (Via Natura Foundation) to create 'Living Labs Ooijpolder Groesbeek,' where biodiversity restoration meets community needs. Patrick Vermeulen (NSM, Business Administration Department) and Inge van de Sande (ZZG Zorggroep) told about their project 'Living Together, Caring Together: Vital Communities Transform Long-Term Care', which aims to change the healthcare landscape.
Visitors could go through a Gallery Walk and learn about different NSM research projects. Several workshops and PdD sessions were held during the Research Day. In addition, the Award for the Best PhD Paper was presented to Muskan Achhpilia.
We would like to thank all speakers, researchers and PhD students for their contribution to the Research Day IMR Academy & Doctoral School 2025.
