Prof. Taco Brandsen will become the new Vice-Dean with responsibility for education at our faculty as of 1 January 2026. He will use his pragmatic approach, eye for collaboration and experience to realise the faculty's strategic goals in the field of education. The Faculty Board is delighted to welcome Taco and looks forward to working with him.
The Faculty Board is very grateful to the current Vice-Dean of Education, Prof. Anna van der Vleuten, for her commitment and dedication over the past years. Anna not only developed initiatives such as the sticky campus and the EOS sandwich, she also ensured that the quality of education remained high during financially difficult times, for example through the HOOP projects. In her role as Vice-Dean, Anna always showed great commitment and loyalty to the staff, both within the academic departments and among the professional staff. The Faculty Board wishes Anna every success and enjoyment in her future academic activities as a professor.
