The Arctic Atlas now available at the Library of Science

You can now view the Russian atlas of the Arctic at the service desk of the Library of Science. Professor Kimel wrote an accompanying text about this special, Russian atlas.

It is said that this atlas is the first to provide an overarching description of Arctic nature. With beautiful illustrations on geology, hydrology, climate, fauna and many other topics, this atlas is worth looking into. Since the atlas is in Russian, Professor Kimel has written a short accompanying text for it.
If you would like to see more special books, visit our “Global Knowledge Traditions” exhibition in Wing 4, which will run until 31 October.
