Thieves active on campus

Electronic equipment has been stolen from lecture halls four times in the past week. The absence of this equipment, such as operating material for AV equipment, cameras and microphones, meant these rooms were no longer suitable for the scheduled education, sometimes forcing students and teachers to sometimes move out at the last minute. While we realize that rescheduling classes at the last minute is inconvenient for everyone involved, we are happy that we managed to continue education.

More surveillance and closing off lecture halls

To prevent new thefts, extra surveillance has been deployed on campus. And while we strive for an open environment that is freely available for scheduled education and self-study, under these circumstances we are also forced to close lecture halls more often. Should it happen that you find yourself in front of a closed door of a room you have reserved, please report to the nearest reception desk or contact the Service Center on +31 24 36 33333.

Suspicious circumstances

We would like to ask everyone to keep a close eye on their own belongings and alert others to this as well.

If you see something suspicious on campus, you can contact the security department on +31 24 361 90 00. If it concerns an immediately unsafe situation, call the emergency number of Radboud University: +31 24 36 55555.
