As of 1 July 2026, Ties Booltink RA has been appointed Management Director at the Faculty of Arts. He has been serving as interim director on the faculty board since 1 January. Ties succeeds Laura Manko, who transferred to the Faculty of Social Sciences on 1 March this year.
Ties Booltink studied General Economics and specialised in Accounting & Control during his Master’s degree, both at Radboud University. After graduating, he held various financial roles at KPMG Accountants and Koninklijke Gazelle. In 2024, he returned to Radboud University, this time as Head of Finance at the Faculty of Arts, where he was responsible for the faculty’s financial and risk policies.
“Over the past two and a half years, I have already had the opportunity to contribute to the development of our faculty. In a time of financial challenges, we worked together to develop plans that allowed us to continue making great things possible – something I look back on with pride,” says Ties. “It feels special to be taking up the role of Management Director at the faculty I have come to know so well. The commitment and ambition of my colleagues give me a great deal of energy. I look forward to continuing to build a strong and future-proof Faculty of Arts together.”
