How does it work?
The parking ticket features a QR code linked to your number plate. This allows you to pay for your parking session whilst walking back to your car, so you no longer need to stop at the payment terminal. You can still pay directly at the barrier exit. The system recognises your payment via your number plate or via the QR code that you scan at the exit.
What has changed at each location?
- Licence-plate-based parking has been extended to the Platolaan (P10), Houtlaan (P13) and Toernooiveld (P12) car parks.
- Payment via QR code is now available at all RU car parks (with the exception of P9, Toernooiveld 100 and the Trigon car park).
The work carried out in weeks 33 and 34 has now been completed, so all car parks are once again accessible as normal.
