Postdoc Vicky Luna Velez at the Molecular Biology department (Vermeulen team) has received a Young Investigator Grant. Velez is working on research into prostate cancer. Through large-scale protein research, she is attempting to decipher the cellular communication within mini-organs of prostate (cancer) tissue. With the Young Investigator Grant from KWF comes funding of over €665.000.
