WO In Actie organises alternative on Radboud University campus against cuts

Now that the demonstration in Utrecht has been cancelled, an alternative will take place on the Radboud University campus, organised by WO in Actie. Radboud University students and staff who want to make their voices heard today against the cuts in higher education will gather at 13:30 on the square in front of the Linnaeus building.

On the square in front of the Linnaeus building, a red square will be collectively formed, of which a photo will be taken.

The action was set up by WOinAction Nijmegen as an alternative to the cancelled demonstration in Utrecht. The Executive Board and the deans support the message against the cuts in higher education. President of the executive board Daniël Wigboldus: ‘While I understand that the planned demonstration in Utrecht cannot go ahead today under the current circumstances, it is a real shame. Because the message that research and education are the basis for the future of the Netherlands remains.’
