At the opening on 23 May, three books from the Special Collections were also on display, namely:
- Aletta Jacobs: "The woman : her construction and her internal organs : pictorially represented by movable plates and with illustrated, explanatory text : a popular sketch" - 1898
These books are normally only available for inspection in the Special Collections reading room. You arrange this by requesting the book in RUQuest.
In addition to Willem and Manon, the selection and organization committee includes Herma Cuppen (Professor FNWI - Theoretical and Computational Chemistry), Carla Rita Palmerino (Professor FFTR - History of Philosophy) and Marieke van der Eerden (information specialist UB - Library of Science).
