Prof. Yvonne Benschop will become the new vice-dean with research portfolio of our faculty from 1 October. She will start working with great enthusiasm to realise the faculty's strategic goals in the field of research. The Faculty Board warmly welcomes Yvonne and looks forward to a good cooperation.
The Faculty Board thanks the current vice-dean of research, prof. Jan-Kees Helderman, warmly for his tremendous commitment over the past years. Jan-Kees always made a strong case for promoting inter- and transdisciplinary research. His work as vice-dean was distinguished by his great commitment and loyalty to staff in all sections of the faculty, both academic and professional staff. The Faculty Board wishes him every success in his further scientific activities as a professor.
