Minor system

In your third year (B3) you will have to take a minor worth 40 EC. This minor is a package of related courses that helps you expand or deepen your knowledge. Minors from the Faculty of Arts deal with current societal themes. Choosing one of these themes will help you focus your programme, making it easier to set yourself apart on the labour market.

Quality of education

All degree programmes of the Faculty of Arts have been accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). This accreditation system, which was introduced in the Netherlands in 2002, guarantees that degrees in higher education are at a comparable level of quality, and increases the international recognition of higher education. The degree programmes are assessed once every six years. Find out more about the NVAO on their official website.
